I have been trying to deauthorize my Adobe Digital Editions account for about 24 hours (I need to authorize a different username). Each time I make it through the dialogue, the error message "Unable to Erase Authorization. Please try again after some time" pops up. Why might this error be occurring? I have also tried uninstalling the program, but it keeps me authorized with the original username.

Change the cover page of epub book
I would like to know how to change the cover of some of my epub books. Same have a very bland and unexciting cover page and I would like to change it to reflect some of the cover pages found on internet sites. Can anyone tell me if this is possible and if so how to do it. There doesn't seem to be any editing functions in ADE.

Why is Adobe Digital Editions 4.0.3 crashing every time I try to move or open a borrowed library book?
I'm running it on Mac OS X 10.10.3 Yosemite, on a brand new MacBook Pro. I have no problem downloading the book using Overdrive, and the book appears in my library, but when I try to open it in ADE, or move it to my ereader, ADE crashes. Seeing that other people have crashing problems, when is Adobe going to provide a fix?
OS X Yosemite: ADE 2.0, 3.0 and 4.0 all crash upon opening
Is this a Yosemite thing? Has anyone else experienced this? If you fixed it, what did you do? Is there a bit of the error log that I can copy and paste in here to help diagnose? Is this just going to get fixed in the next few days?
I'm not 100% sure it's caused by Yosemite because I hadn't used ADE for many weeks prior to the update, but it's the only major thing I can think of that's changed.
In the mean time, is there any other program that can open .acsm files on a Mac running Yosemite?
E-ADEPT-REQUEST-EXPIRED
What does this mean. I was able to download a book last week and now I get this error. Does it have anything to do with the latest Firefox version?
Yep it was the computer date/time that was not correct. Once that was corrected everything worked perfectly.

Cannot print workbook!
I purchased a workbook in pdf. Turned out I needed to download Adobe Digital Editions to read this book. Now I cannot print pages as the print button is greyed out. Seriously!!! It's a "WORKBOOK"!!! I tried looking for help on the ADE's website & found nothing unless it was for a product that was purchased from them.
Error! Check Activation. What do I do?
Hi, I have installed ADE v3 with Firefox. I have authorized my computer and my e-reader. When I try to load books, I get "Error! Check Activation." Anyone else have same problem?
Thanks.
ADE will no longer open library books
When I try to download EPUB library books, I get this message, "Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem: E_ACT_NOT_READY."
I am using ADE 3.0. I had 4.0 before but deleted it after reading some other messages on this forum.
Thanks in advance!
Every time I open ADE it says "Adobe Digital Editions 4.0 has stopped working"
I am running ADE 4.0.3 on Windows 7. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and downloading an older version, but nothing works.

Error appears when trying to download ebook to digital reader
Software not responding; can't transfer a library book to my nook
Downloaded Adobe Digital Editions as directed by my library.
Checked out book from my library.
Open ADE and my book appears in the library.
When I try to drag it to my Nook it either will not drag or I get an error that it cannot copy to another device.
When I try to authorize my Nook the right-click context menu is unresponsive.
I have now reinstalled three times.
I searched the forums and found this question listed numerous times, but no responses that actually address the problem.
Any help would be appreciated.
License error
I have uninstalled and reinstalled ADE several times, but it doesn't correct the problem (which has been occurring for the past year or so) that when trying to download eBooks on my iMac (OS X Yosemite Version 10.10.3) using either Chrome or Safari I get this message which prevents a successful download: "Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem: E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY_OR_PKCS12." Is there a fix for this?
Trouble adding epub and pdf files to Kobo Glo
Hi there,
I've recently downloaded some epub and pdf ebooks that I want to add to my kobo glo. I'm using a macbook pro computer with OS 10.7. I've searched online forums that tell me that I can just drag and drop pdf and epub files on to the KOBOereader that pops up in my devices. I have done this and ejected the kobo but when I power it up these ebooks are apparently no where on the device. I then followed the instructions on how to add ebooks using ADE 2.0. I authorized my computer to read adobe DRM files under the same email that I set up my kobo with. I plugged in my kobo glo and clicked on connect and the device is recognized in ADE. I authorized the device and drag-and-dropped the files on to the ereader. They apparently transferred over fine and when I open the device in my finder window I see the digital editions folder that contains the files. I eject the device and power up but the files stll do not appear in my library on the ereader. The only files that appear are the ones that I have bought from the Kobo desktop store and loaded on to it through the Kobo desktop app. I also want to note that I do not see the ebooks that I have purchased from kobo on the device when I click on it in ADE. Any help as to fixing my problem is greatly appreciated.
Kobo Touch not opening a book transferred from Adobe Digital Editions 2.0
The book transferred fine from my public library to ADE on the computer and can be read there It appeared to transfer to my Kobo Touch ok, but won't open there. Message on the e reader is saying "This document is protected by Adobe Digital Rights Management and is not currently authorized for use with you Adobe ID. Please sign in again with your authorized Adobe ID again and try again". Adobe on my computer signs me in automatically and I don't know what else to do in that respect. I tried signing out of Kobo and setting it up again, but that didn't work either. Other library books have transferred to the e reader fine, so don't know why this one is different. Many thanks.
I can't cancel the authorization of my computer.
I can't cancel the authorization of my computer. My ID Adobe isn't editable, it's already written and I can't choose it another one. What can I do?
Are ADE bookmarks permanent and accessible?
I've created many bookmarks in Adobe Digital Editions. I need to be sure they'll survive a computer crash, an ADE reinstall, or an upgrade to Windows 7 - maybe on a different PC. So I have many related questions:
What file(s) are bookmarks stored in?
How can I restore my bookmarks if I have to reinstall ADE?
Can I migrate bookmarks to a new PC if I decide to upgrade?
Can I save or export bookmarks in some format?
How can I print them?
I expected ADE's bookmarks would be adequately documented on your website, but I can't find anything.
