I can't see my Kobo to download books in 4.0

Hello,

I have a Kobo e-reader.  I downloaded 4.0 from Adobe and ordered a book from my library.  I can see the book is there but Adobe cannot see my Kobo.  I uninstalled and tried again, re-booted my computer, and still no luck
